WHAT TO SEE
The country has several religious buildings that are worth visiting: the most important is the Collegiate Church of San Cassiano (late eighteenth century.), The Church of Misericcordia (XIV century) hosts ancheil of Mercy Museum with works by Ugolino da Siena and Simone Martini. The Church of Santa Maria del geso Vicariale houses the Museum of Sacred Art and important paintings such as the Madonna with Child by Ambrogio Lorenzetti. Outside the center there is the Pieve di Santa Cecilia a Decimo. In a suburb of San Casciano, L’Albergaccio, is the residence of Niccolò Machiavelli. Nearby you can also visit the Castrello Bibbione with the nearby Etruscan Tomb of the Archer, the Castello di Gabbiano, Pergola and Montefiridolfi.

Besides visiting the country, the Sports Park La Botte is a pedestrian-bycicle lane path and picnic areas and barbecue. Children like the Adventure Park “The Elf” with climbing routes and agility trials. They also organize wine tours in the wine cellars, cycling tour or a walk in the surrounding countryside.
